COMMUNITY SERVICES AT BLW

Our current community services at BLW have changed due to COVID-19. Please call BLW Center at 608-441-6991 for the most up-to-date information!
A community center is for everyone.

All of BLW’s programs are free and open to all. Interested in making a difference in your community? Learn more about volunteering for our Community Services.

FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER
Bilingual staff are available to provide translation and connect families with social services. Appointments are available Monday-Friday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. View the BLW calendar for special events and workshops.

SOCIAL SERVICES
Joining Forces for Families is available to assist with basic human needs such as housing, transportation, and medical access. Contact us to set up an appointment.

​FOOD PANTRY
Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin holds a mobile food pantry on the third Wednesday of every month, as well as weekly. To see an updated schedule, click here.

SENIOR PROGRAM
Due to COVID-19, a lot of our senior programs are virtual. We provide fitness activities, games, and workshops on topics such as how to apply for Medicare, prevent falls, and use computers. View the BLW Calendar for upcoming events.

BILINGUAL JOB TRAINING & EDUCATION
The Latino Academy of Workforce Development provides ESL classes, pre-GED and GED classes, job skills training, and employment workshops. Visit www.latinoacademywi.org for class schedules and contact information.
